Chapin continues to send athletes to the next level

Chapin High School continues to produce top-notch athletes who go on to continue their careers in college.

Several more Huskies signed letters of intent Wednesday as the school continues to prepare student-athletes for the next level.

This particular group includes multiple Division I signees and even a pair of athletes who will play football in the Borderland.

After several successful signing ceremonies in recent months, the Huskies held another one Wednesday in the gym as the following athletes made their commitments official.

Girls Cross Country/Track

Skyler Goodman – Nicholls State University (Thibodaux, LA)

Shavontee Harris – Highland Community College (Highland, KS)

Football

Athlete Christian McKeever – NMSU (Did not participate in signing ceremony Wednesday)

TE Julian Lopez – UTEP

RB Jason Cambra – Curry College (Milton, MA)

WR Eric Diaz – Wayland Baptist (Plainview, TX)

LB Brian Tirado – Texas Wesleyan (Ft Worth, TX)

DB David Santiago – Southwestern Oklahoma St. (Weatherford, OK)
