Man dies in rollover on Trans Mountain
Police have confirmed that a 25-year-old man died in an early-morning crash on Trans Mountain Road.
Police say Jonathan Romero Torres was traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control and went airborne.
The vehicle landed in a culvert near Franklin Mountains State Park. Torres died from his injuries.
The crash happened at about 4 a.m.
This is the 27th traffic fatality in El Paso this year, compared to 18 at the same time last year.
