El Paso Locomotive FC explode on Sacramento Republic FC

With the season winding down and the playoffs looming, USL teams are scrambling for wins to give themselves a birth into the post season.

Sacramento Republic FC was on the outside looking in and needed to knock off the Locomotive FC for those precious points.

El Paso had something to say about that though.

10th minute, Mechack Jerome sends a beautiful pass to Omar Salgado who deeks the defender and finds Calvin Renzende who gets the Locomotive on the board first.

35th minute Republic with a free kick outside the box.

Ray Saari caps it to Drew Skundrich who finishes with the goal!

In the 63rd minute Chiro Ntoko receives the cross and takes a shot.

Before the keeper can react though Jerome Kiesewetter redirects the shot giving El Paso the lead!

10 minutes later Kisewetter finds Edson Partida’s cross and one times it into the back of the net for his second goal of the match and to put the Sacramento Republic FC away.

The El Paso Locomotive FC won it 3-1 and find themsleves in 7th place holding onto a playoff spot.

They play the Portland Timber next week, away.
