City spray parks provide relief from hot El Paso sun, triple-digit temps
It’s sure felt like summer on the Fourth of July for thousands of people in the Borderland, where temperatures flirted with triple-digits for yet another day.
Health experts warn of an increased risk of heat exhaustion and heat stroke in such conditions.
But the city says there’s no need to sweat these hot El Paso days, because there are eight spray parks located throughout the city – from eastside to westside , to central and northeast.
The city also has a spray park especially for dogs at the Pavo Real off of Presa Street.
The spray parks are open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. until Oct. 30.
