Lost hikers rescued on Smuggler’s Pass in Franklin Mountains, 1 hiker injured
EL PASO, Texas -- The El Paso Fire Department's Search and Rescue unit found a lost group of hikers Sunday in the Franklin Mountains off of Transmountain Road.
The hikers were on Smuggler's Pass, part of the Ron Coleman Trail. One of them was injured.
Police and fire crews were called to the scene about 11:30 a.m. for the rescue effort.
