Community Champion: Eastlake’s Cheyanne Bonilla reaches 2,000 point mark

EL PASO, Texas -- Reaching the 2,000 point mark in high school is no easy feat, but an Eastlake Falcon did just that.

Senior Cheyanne Bonilla hit 2,000 points back in December during a game against Del Valle.

Bonilla was honored for her achievement during a game Tuesday night at Eastlake High School.

The Falcons are currently in third place in District 2-5A.
