Results suggest the majority of El Paso voters oppose Proposition K

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Results show that almost 85 percent of El Pasoans who participated in early voting voted against Proposition K, or the citizen-led climate charter.

ABC-7 has providing extensive coverage on the proposition both on air and online. You can learn more about it and other propositions by reading our Your Voice Your Vote Voter Guide.

El Paso County Elections Administrator Lisa Wise said elections are not over yet, however, as Election Day votes still need to be counted.

"It’s nothing final until it’s final, and so we do start to release those results, but again, voters overseas have 6 days to get their ballots back in, so even after tonight, those results will not be final ’til we’re done with the election,” said Wise.

Watch parties both for and against Prop K are happening tonight and ABC-7 will be bringing you reactions from both parties on ABC-7 at 10 and online.
