Ysleta ISD hosts community gardening event

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Ysleta Independent School District’s Young Women's Leadership Academy hosted a community gardening event today. Yselta ISD students, teachers and administrators worked together to transform the garden area at the Young Women's Leadership Academy from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants worked to create a sustainable space for the nearby neighborhood that will provide fresh produce to those living nearby.
