El Paso County closes wage negotiations

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Some El Paso law enforcement is seeing a change that's designed to strengthen their contracts.

At a joint announcement today, the El Paso County Sheriff's Officers Association mentioned budget conflicts, and both organizations agreed to not give additional raises.

Instead, they'll negotiate a new contract for stronger long-term wages in two years from now.
