Alleged drunk driver arrested after crashing into El Paso police car
EL PASO, Texas -- A 23-year-old El Paso woman was arrested late Sunday night for allegedly driving while intoxicated after rear-ending an El Paso police car.
Lexis Croysdill was being held Monday in the El Paso County Detention Facility on $1,000 bond.
Police indicated that her blood alcohol level was over .15 when she crashed into the police car in the 11500 block of Montana around 11:15 p.m. Sunday.
An officer who was in the police car at the time it was struck suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at a local hospital. Police said Croysdill was not hurt and was arrested at the scene of the crash.
Authorities said the police car was pulled over on a traffic stop when it was struck by Croysdill's car.
