El Paso man arrested by Fugitive Apprehension Unit on three aggravated assault charges

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- 20-year-old Jesus Antonio Mendez Jr. was taken into custody by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit Thursday.

Mendez is facing three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Officials say deputies found Mendez at a house on Pullman Drive in El Paso.

Mendez was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
