Two arrested in connection to East El Paso house party shooting
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Police Department said it has arrested the two people in connection to a shooting at a house party in East El Paso last month.
Alan Villanueva, 18, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and Luis Ruiz, 19, is charged with evading arrest or detention and resisting arrest search or transport.
On September 3 around 1:30 a.m., EPPD responded to a shooting at the 10900 block of Gary Player Drive. Officers found two victims -- a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old -- with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a local hospital.
