Car plows through East El Paso restaurant

UPDATE: Surveillance video obtained by ABC-7 shows the moment a white car slammed through the front door.

According to police a 46-year-old man accidentally drove his 2010 Dodge Charger into the building.

No injuries were reported.

No arrests were made.

The family owned business said workers were just making their way in when this happened. Some now said they are afraid to go back to work after this close call. 

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A car went through the front of Tortas Mexico y Mas in East El Paso Wednesday morning. The restaurant is located on the 9500 block of Viscount Boulevard.

An ABC-7 crew on the scene captured images of the damage. There is extensive damage and debris through the seating area of the restaurant

ABC-7 is speaking to the owners of the business and looking at surveillance video of the crash. We are working to learn more about what led up to the crash.

The family who owns the restaurant set up a Gofundme.
