Water line leak repaired in the Anapra area

Update: The repairs are now done.

"Repairs are complete and water is restored," a spokesperson said.


SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (KVIA) -- A water line leak is being reported out of the Anapra area.

Doña Ana county officials say it was caused due to roadway improvement project that is temporarily disrupting water service.

They say that once water service is restored, it could appear discolored.

Camino Real Regional Utility Authority recommends waiting to wash laundry until water is clear.

Discoloration is said to disappear within a hours.

CRRUA says if discoloration persist to flush all faucets for five minutes.
