Police search for gunman after 2 hurt in melee at east El Paso’s Jaguars strip club
UPDATE: Police said Thursday afternoon they were searching for a gunman after a parking lot melee at Jaguars strip club in east El Paso left one man shot and another struck by a car.
Officers said they responded about 3 a.m. to "reports of multiple subjects pointing guns at each other in the parking lot" of the club located at 11377 Gateway Boulevard West.
Police said 26–year-old Pedro Ingram was found with a gunshot wound and remained hospitalized Thursday afternoon, while 38–year-old Duayne Tyler was struck by car fleeing the shooting scene and had minor injuries.
The shooter fled and remained on the loose as of Thursday afternoon, investigators said.
ORIGINAL REPORT: EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso police were investigating an early Thursday morning assault at Jaguars strip club on the city's east side that injured two people.
A police dispatcher would not confirm whether the assault was a shooting or stabbing.
A fire department dispatcher told ABC-7 that two people were taken to the hospital, one with serious injuries, the other with minor injuries.
Police were first called out to reports of an assault just after 3 a.m.
The police department's public information office didn't immediately respond to a request for further details.
