About 3,500 without power in Socorro, Lower Valley during rain, wind
SOCORRO, Texas - Amid rain showers and gusty winds Tuesday evening, a power outage impacted about 3,500 homes and businesses in Socorro and El Paso's Lower Valley.
El Paso Electric Co. crews were working to restore service, but there was no estimate provided as to when electricity would be back on for those affected.
The exact cause of the outage was also unknown.
