EL PASO, Texas- The Paso Del Norte Foundation has partnered up to bring the Borderland “Gator Tank.”

A new program the two organizations have created in order to connect non-profit organizations with potential investors.

According to Andrea Macias, the Community Coordinator for the Paso Del Norte Foundation their idea is to give the groups an opportunity to pitch to the investors quickly.

“We do have a review committee that will select 6 non-profit organizations to participate and those non-profit organizations will end up pitching their ideas to a panel of judges and funders here in our community in conjunction with our El Paso Living Day campaign for 2022,” Macias said when explaining the event.

In the PDNF’s press release they explain Participating nonprofit organizations must provide services in the Paso del Norte region, be registered as a participating organization for El Paso Giving Day 2022, and fall within the “small” (budget less than $250k) or “medium” (budget between $250k-$500k) sized budget categories.

Applications can be found on the Paso Del Norte's website.
