UPDATE: LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- Delbert Hardin, the 13-year-old Las Cruces boy reported missing Saturday night, has returned home and is said to be in good condition. The Las Cruces Police Department offered its thanks those who helped share information on the missing boy.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Police sought the public’s help locating a 13-year-old Las Cruces boy who went missing Saturday evening and is thought to be in danger.

His family told police that Delbert Hardin was last seen at home in the 5400 block of Porter Road about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

"It’s believed he left on foot. Because of his age and the current weather conditions, Hardin may be in danger," said Las Cruces police spokesman Dan Trujillo.

Police issued a photo of the boy and described him as black, 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. His family told officers he was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, and black and white shoes.

Trujillo asked that anyone with information about the missing boy call Las Cruces police immediately at (575) 526-0795.
