Body found in Socorro in late stage of decomposition

SOCORRO, Texas -- Socorro Police said Tuesday they are investigating the discovery of a body along Berry Road.

The Medical Examiner's Office has been called out to help identify the body.

Socorro Police say there is no threat to the public.

The body was said to be found in a late state of decomposition. Police say there are no further details at this time.
