EL PASO, Texas -- A 17-year-old was arrested for a string of burglaries over nine days, according to El Paso police.

Jacob Perez was arrested on Dec. 8. He was previously arrested in August for a series of business burglaries between July 6 and July 9.

Investigators say Perez is charged with burglary of a business at seven stores, mainly on Doniphan Dr., with one on Mesa. He's also charged with criminal mischief at a restaurant on Doniphan.

The recent string of robberies occurred on Oct. 14, Oct. 17 and Oct. 24.

Perez was released in August, two days after his arrest, on personal recognizance bonds.
