SWAT team removes barricaded person from Lower Valley apartment
Update: The SWAT standoff is now over. The team removed the barricaded man from inside one of the apartments and took him into custody.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso Police say that the SWAT team was called out to the 8000 block of San Jose Road in the Lower Valley.
Police say there is a barricaded subject in a building on that block.
There is a large police presence in the area. Details are limited at this time.
