Police identify man killed after being struck by car on I-10 West and Paisano
UPDATE: The Special Traffic Investigation Unit identified 21-year-old Kevin Lopez-Vazquez as the man who was killed after being hit by a car.
Officials say that Vazquez was hit by a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta while on I-10 West and Paisano.
Police say Vazquez died from his injuries and the investigation is still ongoing.
Investigators say that "the main contributing factor is pedestrian on the freeway."
The police department is asking for anyone with information to contact the El Paso Police Department at 915-832-4400 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477 to remain anonymous.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso Police responded to a call of a pedestrian in the roadway late Friday evening.
It happened around 9:45 p.m. near I-10 West and Paisano.
As of Saturday morning, Westbound lanes remain closed as police continue their investigation.
