Man suffers second-degree burns after acid attack

    MILWAUKEE (Tess Klein) — A 42-year-old man suffered second-degree burns after an unknown suspect threw acid on him Friday night.

Police say the victim and the suspect got into a verbal altercation about 8:25 p.m. in the 2600 block of South 13th Street. The fight escalated and that’s when the suspect threw acid at the man.

The suspect is a described as a white man, approximately 6 ft. tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue winter jacket with the hood up, black pants, black shoes and was carrying a black satchel and a silver aluminum container that police believe contained the battery acid.

Police are still searching for the suspect in this incident.
