El Paso barber gives haircuts to migrants gathering at Sacred Heart Church
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — Hundreds of migrants continue to gather around Sacred Heart Church as the expected lifting of Title 42 nears.
Right now many migrants are sleeping on the streets, under the sun, and in poor living conditions.
To help ease some of the discomfort, El Paso barber Miguel Ruvalcaba said he and other barbers have started to visit the church every other Sunday to give haircuts to the migrants.
Ruvalcaba said his grandparents are from Guadalajara, Mexico and felt it was important to help the migrants sleeping on the streets of El Paso in anyway he could.
