Suicide attempt along I-10 at the Spaghetti Bowl snarls traffic during El Paso’s evening rush hour
EL PASO, Texas -- Traffic was snarled during the Tuesday evening rush hour along Interstate 10 at the Spaghetti Bowl as police crisis management and SWAT teams converged on the area due to a suicide attempt.
Police closed all lanes of I-10 eastbound and westbound at the U.S. 54/ Juarez exit due to a woman on the ramp who was threatening to jump.
As of 6:45 p.m., police indicated the woman was in custody. All lanes in both directions along the interstate had reopened as of 7 p.m.
