NMDoT reports difficult driving conditions

SANTA TERESA, New Mexico (KVIA) - Drivers are advised to exercise caution while traveling from Columbus to Santa Teresa.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation reports "difficult driving conditions" along NM 9 east and west from mile marker 88, from Columbus to Santa Teresa.

The conditions are due to high winds. NMDOT said drivers should expect "areas of limited visibility" due to the blowing dust and sand in the area.
