ABC-7 First Alert: Winds die down, cold night before warming up tomorrow

Happy Monday everyone! Brrrrr! The cold front that moved across the area this morning made today an uncomfortable and chilly day in the borderland. Temperatures are running 15-20 degrees colder than yesterday, and we will only reach the mid-50s and low-60s today. Over the next several hours the strong winds will start to die down, but we will have a very chilly night with lows in the mid to low 30s.

Tomorrow, our highs will rise into the upper 60s, and by Wednesday, the mid 70s! Winds won't be too bothersome for Tuesday and Wednesday, but another cold front will move across the region Thursday which will increase our winds again up to 35 mph and drop our temps for Fri-Sat.

Looking ahead to Halloween- the good news is, it doesn't seem like the winds will be too bad and rain chances are 0%. Things may change a little, but the only thing you need to worry about are the cooler temps in your costumes! Enjoy and stay warm tonight!
