ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Nice NYE but rainy late tomorrow

Hi everyone and Happy New Year! Today has been a pretty beautiful day, and tomorrow will be beautiful for the most part as well. However, we want to know about NYE right, right!? Ok...I'll start with that. Temperatures will be in the low 50s, upper 40s as the ball "drops" at midnight in the Borderland. Winds will be on the low-end breezy side with partly cloudy skies- pretty good NYE weather.

For New Year's Day, we are looking at another beautiful day for the most part, with breezy winds throughout the day, and highs in the 60s. However, we do expect rain to move through later on in the evening as a cold front pushes across the area. We could certainly see a few showers throughout the afternoon and evening hours across the region tomorrow, and sticking around until the morning hours of Monday. Temperatures will drop by about 10 degrees as well.

Breezy winds will stick around for the rest of the week, as will the cooler temperatures, with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Have a safe and happy New Year and enjoy the good weather while we have it!
