ABC-7 First Alert: Some showers and storms rolled in this afternoon and evening; some good rain in spots.

Showers and storms hit the Borderland Tuesday afternoon and evening. The West Side of town, along Doniphan between West Towne Marketplace and Keystone Heritage Park, picked up the most rain. Doppler estimates indicate anywhere from 0.5" and 1 .00". Other storms hammered the far east side of El Paso County.

There will be another chance for some storms again on Wednesday, and then we begin to dry out a bit more for Thursday through the weekend. Temps will increase to the mid and upper 90s.
