ABC-7 First Alert: Cold weather expected for Halloween
A bitterly cold start to your Halloween morning. We didn't set a record low temperature this morning at the El Paso Airport, we almost made it. The low made it down to 28 degrees-- the record was 27 degrees from back in 1967. Temperatures will remain below normal this afternoon so you will still need a sweater or a jacket despite the sunshine. Be sure and wear a few extra layers if you're Trick-or-Treating! A warm-up takes place on Friday and gusty winds will return as another cold front will move in on Saturday. Keep that in mind if you will be attending any Friday night football games a blanket might come in handy. Dry weather will continue through the weekend, temperatures will warm back up next week.
