Solar panels will double as shaded parking at El Paso International Airport
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Solar panels will double as shaded parking on the short term parking lot at the El Paso International Airport with federal funding.
When complete, the $1.7 million project will generate 1.5 megawatts of renewable energy for the airport, which will offset the 2.1 megawatts used every year by the airport.
