Arizona Man Charged In Wife’s Murder Arrested In Las Cruces
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – An Arizona man suspected of his wife’s death is now in Las Cruces Police custody.
63-year-old David Taub was arrested Thursday after being released from a Las Cruces hospital investigators say he tried to commit suicide. Taub is charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the death of 60-year-old Sherry Taub.
She was pronounced death October 4th at a Las Cruces hospital. David Taub told authorities she’d been beaten and robbed at a Lordsburg truck stop, and that he drove her 120 miles to Las Cruces for help.
