Fire breaks out in abandoned South-Central El Paso home

Saturday, Firefighters with the El Paso Fire Department battled a fire in an abandoned home at the corner of East San Antonio Avenue and South Raynor Street.

A spokesperson for the fire department said the fire started around 12:30 p.m. and fire officials said crews were able to get the fire under control shortly after 1:30 p.m.

Damage is estimated to be at $100,000 and officials are still working to find out the cause of the fire.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
