Police make arrest in stabbing at Upper Valley house party

The El Paso Police Department has arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with a stabbing at a house party in the Upper Valley early Tuesday morning.

Jordan Ingalls faces aggravated assault charges for allegedly stabbing two people, sending them to the hospital.

Authorities named 21-year-old Cody Bennet and 18-year-old Omar Apodaca as the two who were stabbed at the party. Both victims suffered multiple stab wounds and were transported to University Medical Center in serious condition.

An argument between the attendees of a house party and both victims sparked the stabbing and Ingalls allegedly fled the scene, police said.

Ingalls was booked into the El Paso County Jail. His bond was set at $50,000.
