StormTRACK Weather: Showers & thunderstorms to develop this afternoon

El Paso, Texas- Monsoon season is in full swing and it will be a more active day for most of the area in terms of thunderstorm activity. A few showers and storms look to develop across our entire viewing area this afternoon.

There is potential for gusty winds, blowing dust, and frequent lightning with any convection. It's time to be "weather aware" and download that StormTRACK Weather App. I don't expect these storms to be severe today, but our entire team will be monitoring monsoon storms.
