NEW YORK (AP) — Novak Djokovic has moved into the third round of the U.S. Open as he tries to complete a calendar-year Grand Slam and collect a 21st major championship. Djokovic beat Tallon Griekspoor 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 at Arthur Ashe Stadium. It was as lopsided as expected. Djokovic did not have much trouble, although he was not thrilled by the noise coming from the stands in the middle of some points. Djokovic next will meet 2014 U.S. Open runner-up Kei Nishikori. Most of the top women advanced with straight-set victories, including No. 1 Ash Barty and 2019 U.S. Open champion Bianca Andreescu.
