Nicholas helps Gardner-Webb top North Carolina Central 72-70

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. — DQ Nicholas turned a three-point play with 15 seconds left to lift the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs past the North Carolina Central Eagles 72-70. The Runnin’ Bulldogs improved to 4-7 with the win and the Eagles fell to 5-7.
