EPSO: Anthony Cobos In Administrative Separation
A spokeswoman for the El Paso Sheriff’s Office told ABC7 former county judge Anthony Cobos was placed in administrative separation at the county jail.
According to EPSO, Cobos was moved away from the general population, and is now in his own cell. The sheriff’s office said the move is for his safety.
Cobos was arrested Friday in the FBI’s public corruption investigation and was denied bond because he refused to talk about his assets without a lawyer present.
