Police car involved in collision in Central El Paso

A marked El Paso Police car was involved in a collision in Central El Paso Wednesday.

At about 10:08 a.m., a was was driving her Chevy SUV eastbound on Montana when she was going to make a left turn onto Birch.

Police say the police car, with two officers in it, was traveling westbound on Montana when the SUV failed to yield to the police car and the police car hit the SUV, causing it to flip on its side.

The officers and driver were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The area is closed off for about another hour.
