NMSU Football: Aggies Hire New Defensive Coordinator

The Aggies have hired former Boston College head coach Frank Spaziani as the team’s defensive coordinator.

Spaziani has a 22-29 record as a head coach and led the team to bowl games from 2009-2011. Boston College won Meineke Car Care Bowl in 2009.

The Aggies surrendered a school worst 45 points per game and 540 for the season.

Spaziani’s contract is a 2 year deal worth $150,000.

Former defensive coordinator Zane Vance will return to the Aggies as the assistant head coach.
