Estela’s Escuelas: Students clean up Arroyo Park

of dr. martin luther king junior. on tonight’s estela’s escuelas we take you to the robinson arroyo near rim road. the arroyo is a lot cleaner today thanks to several second graders. these girl scouts — who attend mesita elementary — turned their day off into a day of service and worked to improve their community. they decided to clean up the park by picking up trash anne jianjulio: “the kids are very excited about helping their community. i think it shows them how you know as they grow from kids to adults how they can help their community in little ways all throughout the year.” the city donated gloves and trash bags to the troop as they beautified their community. 30 college students are doing their part to make
