Driver leads officers on high-speed chase in Upper Valley

A driver led police on a high-speed chase after officers tried to pull them over Saturday morning, police said.

Officer tried to conduct a stop about 5 a.m. near Country Club Road, but the driver refused to stop.

The driver ended up jumping a curb and came to a stop at Memory Lane and Country Club, police said.

Officers took the driver into custody after searching the vehicle for weapons and drugs.

Investigator are also trying to determine whether the car was stolen,

No one was injured in the incident.
