Burges falls to Justin-Northwest in regional final
Justin-Northwest eliminated Burges from the state basketball playoffs Saturday afternoon in Snyder, Texas.
The Texans were down nine points at the half, but rallied to hold off the Mustangs, 65-62.
Burges (28-5) was the last El Paso-area team alive in the playoffs after Northwest defeated Andress on Friday evening.
Northwest (33-5) will play in the state semifinals Thursday in San Antonio.
