Holloman Airman dies on base
The Air Force announced Wednesday Technical Sergeant Andrew R. Gage died on base at approximately 10 p.m., April 28, 2017.
Gage was aircraft Avionics Craftsman assigned to the 54th Fighter Group, 54th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, officials said.
The Air Force did not explain how Gage died, merely stating “no foul play is suspected and the incident is under investigation.”
“We mourn the loss of Technical Sergeant Gage,” said Col. James Keen, 54th Fighter Group commander. “There are many impacted by this tragedy and we are focusing on providing the support needed at this time.”
Air Force officials said Gage, 32, was from San Antonio, Texas, and is survived by his son, mother, father, sister and a brother.
