Water main break, sinkhole affecting customers in Central El Paso

El Paso Water crews worked on a water main break in Central El Paso Friday morning.

It is of low severity, meaning 20 customers or less are affected by it.

It happened on the intersection Rio Grande and Florence St., which were flooded by the water.

El Paso Water got the the scene and was able to stop the flow coming from the water main break.

Usually, a break of this size is expected to take from four to six hours to repair, the utility said.
