Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke set to speak at Khalid’s benefit concert for shooting victims

Former El Paso Congressman and presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke is set to deliver remarks during Khalid’s “A Night for Suncity” benefit concert this Sunday.

Proceeds from the show will go to the El Paso Shooting Victims’ Fund and the El Paso Community Foundation.

The R&B singer has previously shown his support for O’Rourke. During his acceptance speech at the American Music Awards in 2018, Khalid said, ”Before I go, shout out to the 915, to El Paso, Texas, shout out, Beto. Thank you.”

Tickets for the concert sold out quickly. It starts at 7 p.m. at the Don Haskins Center.
