Dripping Springs Trail’s waterfall flows strong following several days of rain
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- Following the amount of rain that fell over several days last week, Dripping Springs Trail's natural waterfall flows strong, offering a beautiful and quiet atmosphere for anyone looking to get away close to home.
There is a reservoir that was built by Eugene Van Patten in 1892 to impound water supply to the nearby Dripping Springs Hotel.
Due to the rain, a lot of water is coming down from the mountain. However, visitors are advised not to drink the water as it has not been tested.
