El Paso City 4 Rep. target of a sexual harassment complaint
UPDATE: A city spokesperson tells ABC-7 the complaint was a sexual harassment complaint.
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) --District 4 City Representative Joe Molinar was the target of a harassment complaint and will be reprimanded.
Details surrounding the complaint have not been released, other than it involves harassment allegations against Molinar.
ABC-7 did reach out to the Mayor for an explanation after the agenda was published but he said he could not comment.
City Council voted 6-1 to have the Mayor write a letter of admonishment to Molinar.
The City representative will also have to do anti-harassment training.
We spoke to District 2 City Representative Henry Rivera about any possible correlation between the city manager's fate and the harassment allegations against Molinar he had this to say.
"Put two and two together and see what you come up with. I'm not saying yes I'm not saying no," said Representative Rivera.
We also asked representative Molinar for a comment, he refused. Personal counsel represented him during the executive session.
