Driver accused of speeding, drinking before allegedly crashing into another car
SOCORRO, Texas (KVIA) -- Police have filed a drunk driving charge against 29-year-old Rosalio Rojas.
Officials say Rojas was driving more than 100 miles an hour along a Socorro street in March when he crashed into another car.
The driver of that car died, while the passengers were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say Rojas was driving under the influence of alcohol and was speeding, so should be held responsible for the crash. He was arrested this week and booked under a $110,000 bond.
