Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home hosting annual fund raising walk & run May 20th

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) - The Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home is holding its 21st Annual Walk/Run for Families in Crisis on Saturday, May 20 at 8 a.m. For the first time, the event will be held on the grounds of the home at 1100 East Cliff Drive.

All proceeds from the 5K competitive run and one mile fun run directly benefit the children and families served by the home and help cover the cost of meals provided for them throughout the year.

"For more than 60 years, the Lee & Beulah Moor Children's Home has offered a wide range of services that uplift vulnerable children and families in the region," explained CEO Renee Tanner. "These include residential care, foster care, adoption, individual and family counseling, independent living skills training, a college program, aftercare and much more."

Tanner added that The Lee and Beulah Moor Children's Home has helped more than 30,000 children since they first opened.

‌‌The first 300 people to register for the 21st Annual Walk/Run for Families in Crisis will receive a t-shirt. You can participate as an individual or as a team. There must be a minimum of 10 members per team in order to pay the reduced entry fee. There will be awards, giveaways and contest prizes, food trucks, and entertainment.

Registration fee for individuals is $25. Team entry fee is $18 per person for a team of at least 10. You can register at 1100 E. Cliff Dr., Bldg A, at Up and Running, 3233 N. Mesa or online at RaceAdventuresUnlimited.com. Online registration will close Wednesday, May 17 at 6 p.m.

‌Early packet pick-up is Friday, May 19th from 1-6 p.m. at the Lee and Beulah Moor Children's Home, 1100 East Cliff Drive --Recreation Center, Building E.
